Well it looks like Sydney has turned on a stunning day for us, so the event is all systems go. Just to remind everyone of a few key details:
*The school can be accessed via St Peters St, Church St and Silver St
*Gates open @ 4.45pm, entertainment from 5pm, the movie (Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs) from 6ish
*tickets are $10, and includes a sausage and a drink
*If you are driving, park on Unwins Bridge Rd and walk down
*No alcohol is permitted

St Peters @Sunset Update
On Saturday the 11th of September, St Peters Public School will be holding their inaugural entertainment festival, Sunset @St Peters. The centrepiece of the evening will be a free movie screening of the family classic “Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs” on an inflatable big screen under the stars on the school oval. Other feature events include an acoustic set from Paul Andrews, the lead singer of Lazy Susan (of JJJ fame), a BBQ, raffles and plenty of other entertainment for the whole family.
St Peters @Sunset tickets are $10 and that includes a sausage on a roll and a can of drink. School families can buy their tickets though the school (expect a letter & flyer coming home in the next few days). Tickets can also be bought at the gate and will be available on the night from all three entrances to the school (Silver St, Church St and St Peters St). Gates will open from 4.45pm, entertainment kicks off at 5pm with the movie starting just after dark around 6. The event is open to all members of the community.

Sunset @ St Peters - Saturday 11 Sept
Our first ever Sunset @ St Peters is scheduled for Saturday 11 September. The centrepiece of the evening is the screening of a movie on an inflatable big screen under the stars. The movie will start just after dark (around 6pm), though the gates open at 5pm and there will be plenty of entertainment - bands, games for the kids, BBQs, raffles, etc.
We'll have more news on tickets, bands, movies, etc over the coming weeks. Make sure though you block out the diary now though, as it should be a wonderful evening for the family.

Election BBQ - Saturday August 21
To coincide with the federal election, the P&C will be running a BBQ down at the school. Hopefully there will be hoards of hungry voters!
The BBQ will kick off at 8am and should run through until around 4pm.
