It's On Tonight!!

The day has dawned clear and sunny! Despite a little wind we will be going ahead with our Family Fun Night as planned.

Here's a recap of the key info:

Gates open at 4.45pm, movie commences at sunset (6-6.15pm)
BBQ will be running hot with yummy sausages and fresh bakery rolls
Desserts provided by Homemade Finefoods (super yum)
Lollies from Dolci Doro
Glow sticks
A huge inflatable slide
Sack races and face painting

Get ready for a fun night in St Peters!!

Don't forget your warm jacket and hat (it's going to be a bit chilly), blankets, a small tarp in case the ground is damp and a torch for when you're heading out.

You can still pre-book your tickets and save $2 per ticket by phoning 0420986903 or 0411013048.

Prebooked/purchased tickets are $10 each (includes a sausage on a roll and a can of drink + all activities). If you buy at the gate tickets are $12. Kids under 3 free entry (food not included).

Entry is via St Peters St and Silver Street (no entry at Church Street). Parking available in the surrounding streets (Unwins Bridge Road, Silver Street, St Peters Street, Victoria Street, Florence Street)

The Day Before....

Despite the weather being a bit 'iffy' today we are still fairly certain that our movie event will go ahead tomorrow night. We will be making our final decision tomorrow morning at about 10am. Please check back to confirm that the event is on.

The weather forecast is for mostly sunny, however it will be cool (top of 18 degrees forecast). So please bring a jacket, a warm hat and a blanket! As it will be dark when you leave please consider a torch too.

In other news...we will also be having a giant inflatable slide and glow in the dark face painting for the kids so come along and bring the family - it's not too late to pre-book your tickets and save $2 a ticket. Experience St Peters @ Sunset!

It's that time again! St Peter's Public School P&C will once again be hosting an Outdoor Movie Night!

After last year's success we thought it would be great to hold this fun family event once more.

This year the film is "Astro Boy" a great flick that we're sure the whole family will enjoy.

Once again we will be serving up a delicious BBQ as part of the ticket price as well as some music and activities for the kids.

So grab your picnic rug, cushions and your family and friends and come join us under the stars in front of the big screen. All proceeds from this event will go towards the refurbishment of our canteen.

Here are all the important details:

WHEN: Gates open 4.45pm, Saturday September 10th, the film will start at sunset

WHERE: St Peters Public School Oval - entry via St Peters St or Silver St

HOW MUCH: $10 for tickets prebooked or purchased prior to the event. $12 for tickets purchased at the gate. Ticket includes a sausage on a roll and a can of soft drink. Children 3 and under are free (entry only - food can be purchased separately)

HOW: To prebook your tickets please email stpeterspandc@gmail.com with your name and the number of tickets required OR phone 0420 986 903 OR 0411 013 048. Your tickets will be set aside and can be paid for and collected on the night.

Tickets will be available for sale on Friday mornings 8.45 til 9.10 in the St Peters Public School hall - at the same time as lunch orders.

Prebooking or prepurchasing your tickets will allow us to cater effectively for the evening (and it will also save you $2 per ticket!)

Tickets will also be available for sale on the night at the gate for $12 each.

OTHER IMPORTANT STUFF:

• This is an alcohol-free event
• There is no parking on the school grounds - parking is available in Silver St,St Peters St, Church St and Florence St
• Entry is via Silver St and St Peters St (no entry at Church St)
• Chairs are permitted in limited areas
• In the event of rain or inclement weather on the day prior or on the day the event may be postponed to Friday September 23rd. We will update this site if there is any change to the event.

Welcome Back to 2011

Hi Everyone

Welcome back to 2011. Hopefully all the kids (and parents!) have settled into the school routine.

As usual, it's a big year ahead for the P&C. We've got a BBQ and Cake stall for the NSW state election (on March 26), and we've also started work on the school vege garden.

We're always keen for people to get involved and help out. All the funds we raise get ploughed back into the school. Our next meeting is on Wednesday March 9 @ 6.45pm at the School. It would be great to see some new faces there.
